HOW TO PREPARE YOUR PETS
- Aged at least 4 months old
- Injected at least 2 rabies vaccination
- In case of short nose breeds will decided by airline considered for acception (case by case)

REQUIREMENTS FOR PET MOVEMENT FROM THAILANDEntry into European Union (EU) countries
- IDENTIFICATION
The animal shall be identified by an electronic identification system (transponder) or by a clearly readable tattoo applied before 3 July 2011, of which the alpha-numeric code corresponds to the one documented in the passport (a transponder is required for movements to the UK, Malta and Ireland)
- VALID RABIES VACCINATION
The Regulation of the third countries such as Thailand where the rabies situation is considered to be satisfactory are listed. Pet animals arriving from these countries must have effective vaccination to rabies ( valid rabies vaccination in accordance with the recommendations of the manufactor of the vaccine )
- SEROLOGICAL TEST (BLOOD TEST)
A blood sample taken at least 30 days after it was vaccinated and three months before movement need a positive result (titre >0.5 IU/ml) by an approved lab. (The titration must be carried out in a laboratory approved by the European Commission on a blood sample taken at least one month after the vaccination and three months before the movement of the animal.)
REMARKS
- Rabies serology is for the countries which using the policy under EU term e.g. Europe countries, Japan, Hong Kong etc. Moreover, pets must stay in Thailand for 90 up to 180 days depend on destination countries regulation.
- Rabies titer blood test accepts only result from abroad laboratory
